ELF Arctic Challenge 2010 - Have you got what it takes?
Exeter Leukaemia Fund are looking for 20 adventurous people to take part in the Arctic Challenge 2010. Mark Whittle, ELF Fundraising Manager said "The Arctic challenge is a fantastic exhilarating challenge for anyone who dares to be different."
The ELF Arctic Challenge 2010 will take place in Northern Sweden between the 5th and 12th March 2010. Participants will spend the week living in basic conditions in a log cabin and will take part in a challenging three day survival course. During the three days people will live on arctic survival rations, sleep in a tent, build a shelter and dig a snow hole. Individuals need to raise a minimum of £2500.
Nigel Startin of Intrepid Expeditions who organises the event said "We offer courses which are testing yet rewarding. Our team of experienced instructors will teach new skills and the feedback from people who have been before has been excellent. They have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and raised significant sums for ELF."
