Exeter University Swimming Team supporting ELF

Anna-Marie Linnell, the secretary for Exeter University Swimming Club writes:"On Saturday May 2nd, from 5pm, EUSC are hosting a Varsity competition for ELF at the Riverside Leisure Centre. The event will be a culmination of several student fundraising events set to take place across both Exeter campuses throughout the preceding week.This is an annual friendly competition between several of the southern universities. The universities of Plymouth, Bristol, Bath and Southampton will also be attending. Swimmers at all levels in the clubs are encouraged to race: it is not exclusively for the swim team, but a whole club effort.The team at the recent BUCS championships for you. EUSC as a club have been going from strength to strength lately: we came eighth in the recent national championships and won Athletic Union Club of the Year for the last academic year (2007-2008). Hopefully we can match this success with our Varsity event, and raise as much money for ELF as possible!"
