Jo Pavey, who was born near Honiton in Devon, is one of ELF's Vice Patrons. As a member of Exeter Harriers, Jo is one of Great Britain's brightest athletic stars who is aiming to run the Marathon in the 2012 London Olympics.

Jo has had significant success on the track, most notably in the Commonwealth Games where she achieved silver in the 5000m and won gold in the 2007 European Cup at the same distance.

Only injury thwarted further success at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Jo said “It was a lovely surprise to be asked to become Vice Patron of ELF, a charity I have supported over many years. I was delighted to accept as it is such a great honour.”
