ELF can arrange accommodation for patients or family members who need to stay in Exeter during treatment. This service is provided by ELF directly to the patient. Any questions about the service should be directed to ELF at enquire@elfcharity.org.uk.
Any haematology patient, or their family members, are welcome to request a referral.
Patients must be referred by a member of RDU staff, usually a member of the nursing team, using the online REFERRAL FORM
Accommodation is provided at the Mercure Southgate Hotel, and will be booked by ELF on behalf of the patient.
There is a limit of one room per family per night. ELF covers the cost of room only, any meals or additional services must be paid for by the occupant/s.
ELF will normally pay for a maximum of ten nights’ accommodation per patient/family in any 12-month period.
These guidelines may be subject to flexibility in extenuating circumstances.
