A thank you Cream Tea for our volunteer teams

Volunteers play an essential role in the running of Exeter Leukaemia Fund. Whether it is helping in the running of our shops, assisting at fundraising events and collections, or providing additional support to our Transport Service and Filling Time refreshment kiosk. Each volunteer fulfils a key position in ELF.

On 1st June, we hosted a special Cream Tea in Clyst St. George for our volunteers, to launch the start of our summer ELF Cream Tea campaign. The event was an opportunity to thank our volunteers for all their hard work over the past year and to provide an update on our upcoming plans for 2023. The afternoon also allowed volunteers from across the charity to meet each other and share their experiences that led them to ELF.

After enjoying a delicious cream tea (served the Devon way, of course!) our guests were treated to some wonderful singing by some of the ladies from River City Chorus, for whom ELF has been their chosen charity to support for several years. Our thanks to everyone who attended our Volunteer Cream Tea, it was brilliant to see you and thank you for all that you continue to do for ELF and Devon blood cancer patients.
