Thanks to you, over £20,000 has now been raised to support a patient support role. This will mean we can ensure someone is on hand in the hospital, and available over telephone and email, for patients and families needing support as they navigate a leukaemia, or other related illness, diagnosis.
A blood cancer diagnosis is life-changing, and with the added effects of the cost-of-living crisis, haematology patients are more in need of support than ever before. Your generous donations will help ELF to be there for patients when they need it most and guide them to the services where they can receive support, financial assistance or just someone to talk to.
Exeter Leukaemia Fund, and the services we offer, is entirely funded by voluntary donations and gifts in Wills. Support from donors like you ensures we can continue to be there for patients this winter, and for as long as they need us.
